Ticket sales for Tokyo International Pen Show 2026

This event requires advance purchase tickets for entry. Please purchase one of the tickets listed below to secure your entry.

Ticket sales at the gate will only be available on 11/22 (Sun) and 11/23 (Mon) and will begin after advance purchase ticket holders complete their entry around 11:30am.

An Explanation of the different ticket types

Ticket sales for TIPS2026 will commence on 9/23, noon, Japan time.

This year we are introducing a new “Fast Pass 3days” ticket.  It is a priority ticket that allows for the earliest entry into the venue on all three days.  The single day ticket holders will be allowed in immediately after the Fast Pass 3days ticket holder, so you will be given early access to the venue, but not exclusive access to the venue like some other shows offer.

Please note, Fast Pass 3days ticket holders will be asked to line up in order of their ticket numbers on the first day, but will be allowed in in the order of arrival on the second and third days.

The “Standard 3day” ticket is the same as last year’s 3 day pass, where you will be allowed to enter AFTER the single day ticket holders, but at a discounted rate for the whole three days.

For both 3 day passes, you will need to complete the check-in process using the QR code sent to your email, after which you will receive a neck-strap that can be used all three days. (You will need to be wearing the strap to enter the venue)

Single day tickets will operate the same as previous years.  

On 11/21(opening day), we will be offering entry tickets for three different entry times (Groups A ~ C), while the second and third day will have four different entry times (Groups A ~ D).  Please arrive at the venue during your printed “Registration time” to have your QR code scanned and directed to your entry line.  You will be placed in lines based on your ticket number in groups of 25.  Within your group of 25, you will be lined up in the order you arrive.

Please understand that there will be an approximately 40 min gap between each ticket group’s entry time.  This is to assure an orderly entry process and we appreciate your cooperation.

We are also happy to announce that we will be offering free entry to anybody over 65 years of age on 11/22 (second day) and 11/23 (third day) after 12:00pm.  No advanced ticket is necessary as long as you can present a valid photo ID at the time of entry.  As a generation that may have been exposed to fountain pens “back in the day”, we hope to rekindle a love of fine writing instruments in this digital era.

Please check with the exhibitors in advance regarding any specific booths you wish to visit.  Important note: It is the responsibility of each attendee to purchase an event entry ticket that matches any pre-registration ticket that you arrange with an individual exhibitor.  Please understand that we will NOT refund or exchange your ticket after purchase for any reason.
